Little Brother Problems?

Ok let me tell you exactly what's going on with me and my little brother. He is 14, I am 16 and we fight all the time. He does the most annoying crap to me any chance he can get. I don't know why he does this crap to me but I can tell you what... it's getting old... very old... it's been going on ever since he started high school. I don't know if that means anything but I just thought I would throw it out there. He's also an extreeeeeeeeem suck up and mommy's boy... and I am not kidding when I say that :/ I am always miserable when I get home from school. Cause as soon as we get home he bombards me with insults and annoyance. Also when our little puppy snuggles by me on the couch he rips the dog away from me and yells NO!!! at the dog. So now the dog avoids me :( Im so sad at home all the time so what can I do to get away from my little brother? Also my parents don't do anything about him they just say to ignore him... which doesn't work at all because then he goes Phisical :/ god i hate home life :( why can't he just be nice to me? When I am nice to him he just acts meaner... Why would someone want to hurt their brother everyday? Help please! How can I get him to like me?
