I am having second thoughts, but I am already a junior in college.I just need advice.Someone help me!!?

My major in college is print jornalism (which basically involves writing (most often for newspapers) and today a former student who got a job with a newspaper came to one of my cles to talk about her job, and she said it is a very fast paced, pressurized, unstructured job and she really does NOT get paid a lot and she never knows when she might have to work because there is no set schedule. She also has to do things that I could tell involve pestering people like going around (looking like the typical annoying reporter) asking people questions. But I really do NOT want to do ANYTHING like that. I just want to have a regular job with definite set hours where I know that all I have to do is do the job I am required to do within the hours I am there and have nothing to worry about outside of the time I am there.
