Things to do in Washington DC?

the national zoo is fun and free, union station is sometimes a cool place to visit. you mentioned it but any of the Smithsonian museums are great places to visit.....my favorites are the air and space and the museum of natural history. the mall is a great place to walk around, picnic etc....and urban chic is a cute boutique to shop at.
