Is this considered mental abuse and\or controlling?

I have been with my boyfriend for 6 months now. We live together. and have been since pretty much day 1. He used to have problems with drugs and alcohol before we met. He continued drinking and doing drugs about 4 months into our relationship and then promised me he would quit doing drugs and cut down drinking and he did, kinda. He works 5 days a week 7am-5pm. Lately he has been very different, he isn't the same person. He is always getting mad at me for dumb things.. like going out to my friends.. he sends me messages and says stupid things and gets mad over nothing, he does not trust me. He says he does but I know he doesn't. For example this week I wanted to spend the night at my moms to get some time with her. and he wouldn't let me stay and tried to make me feel guilty by saying he had a bad day at work etc. I trust him when it comes to him going to his friends because I am the only girl he has ever been with, ually and relationship wise. He is 22. I love him and everything but this morning, I asked him if he could pick me up something from the store and he said no.. and he told me to get it myself.. but I have no job and I am currently looking for one and he knows that. There is lots of other things like he always goes on my facebook. I remember.. him doing coke and he promised me he would never do it again and did it two more times after that. I love him but I feel like things just aren't the same and he's changed and I'm just sick of the bickering. I need some advice.
