Is it bad that I secretly think of my friend as a rival?

As long as you dont take it too seriously there's no problem. I had a rival this year and the whole grade knee about it. Shed usually do better in the small stuff but I'd take the huge prizes. And in the end of the school year I took home 4 awards, next to her 3. We were competitive but it never defined us.
