How many episodes are on each Netflix disc of Gilmore Girls?

Okay so I have a friend that's coming over this month and she has never seen Gilmore girls but really wants to. I was planning on ordering some of the first season on Netflix, but I'm not sure how many episodes are on season one disc one and two. Does anybody know? Thanks a bunch :D
