Whats the best way to get over your ex?

What's the best way I can get over my ex. He always says things like I still love you and always will, even though we're just friends. This makes me so sad, because I know he only dumped me to see other women, go clubbing, and because he got "bored" with me. The spark isn't alive anymore. I always figure he would stick around because I'm a good girl. I've been a good girl for 2 years, never cheated, getting a degree in Physicians istant, never really a big party animal, keeps myself in shape, nicely broomed always, job, always helped him out with situations, been by his side and loved his family. Why would he suddenly break it off? It hurts me to the point where I almost cannot function, how do I get over this?
